OUR BREAD UNTAXED - OUR COMMERCE FREE.  An attractive and common jug from the tumultuous period in the 1840's in support of the repeal of the Corn Laws. Very well decorated with enamelled, underglaze transfer prints on the inner rim, handle, the neck of the jug and the spout, featuring cheap corn unloaded at the port, castles, crowns and farming implements. NO MONOPOLY - CHEAP CORN.

Approx - 4.5 inches (115mm) tall.
